We saw only nine acts being put through to Vegas tonight, when AGT
returned to New York and also back to Los Angeles. It still surprises me
that they don't go to other areas for the auditions, instead of coming
back to states they have already been?! I'm not sure if they have done
this other seasons, or not?

We were shown a succession of utterly HORRIBLE acts at the very
beginning of tonight's show..disgustingly bad! I don't waste time
commenting on the acts that aren't put through, but please feel free to
do so in this thread.

They did put some through that I wouldn't have voted for, had I been a
judge, and I don't look for them to make it any time at all, after they
hit Vegas. The first to be put through was Funwithhand Shadows, and was
two guys, one explaining who each shadow represented, and the other
fellow actually doing the hand shadows of a few presidents (what no
President Bush?!) and the Pope..entertaining, but certainly not worth
one million bucks. I would not have passed them on, but....nobody asked
me. :-D

The second act to be put through was another very good singer. A young
family man, who calls himself XL (I thought that was a SIZE?!).

#3 act was the Texas State Strutters, a precision dance team, who were
entertaining, but not THAT good, IMO.

#4 was Shakes, who I think said his name was Allie and that he was 10
years old? He could dance Hip Hop that would put a lot of adults to
shame, but I'm not sure they did him any favors by passing him through.

Two acts put through were flashed on n' off the screen in a couple of
seconds, barely letting the audience have an opinion. One was The
Awakening, and was a group of dancers, that looked to have potential.
Then was Georgia Force, and for the life of me, I can't even remember
now what their act was?

The worst one they could ever have possibly put through tonight was #7
who was/is a bus stop exotic dancer, that acted spastic, and was homely
as a mud fence with a scrawny body, so sure NO sex symbol. I think he
was called Ronny B, or something close to that? Disgusting! :(

#8 was Michael Harrison, who used a guy from the audience to do his
ventriloquist act, and this guy was GOOD, there is no doubt about that.
Is he as good as Terry Fador, the winner from last season? I don't know,
until we see more of him, but I, for one, am looking forward to it!

#9 and the final act to be sent to Vegas hands down was single mom Queen
Emily who got on the stage, singing with her heart n' soul, and
completely had everyone in that room under her "spell"! It's going to be
tough competition between the singers I've seen going on to Vegas, as
there has been some really overwhelming ones.

Next week will be the final auditions, and then in two weeks, the 'real'
work starts in Vegas of separating the gimmick acts from the "real"
thing. I can't wait till they get down to the nitty-gritty of the whole
thing!

If you watched tonight, voice your opinion..that's what makes life
interesting.
