National Treasure - Book of Secrets: The sequel is not really as good as
the first one. It is more of a true action-adventure movie. There are
fewer puzzles and more emphasis on moving from place to place. I
wouldn't go out of my way to see it again, but I wouldn't go out of my
way to avoid it.
10,000BC: A sweeping epic, this movie falls rather flat on most counts.
Cloverfield: I'm not really sure what the point of this movie is. As a
horror movie, it lacks gore and scares. As a thriller, there was no
suspense. As a monster movie, the monster was mostly lacking. OTOH,
having a monster movie told from the perspective of the everyday guy,
the person not really involved in the defense planning or forming a
solution is a bit unique.
