Netflix, how I love thee. Netflix, how have you set me free.
AHEM. Sorry. Heh. I could just about star in a Netflix commercial, I
swear. I'm bananas over the site. Unlimited free stream-viewing, too,
whooooooo! So this is the latest I've watched as far as films (I've
been mostly doing series viewing).
1. Cloverfield - I actually rather liked it, more than Blair Witch.
I'd say a lot more could have been done with it, but it kept me
entertained.
2. The Blob - The 1958 original with Steve McQueen. I see why it's a
classic, such campy fun!
3. The Boogy Man Will Get You - A nonsensical title in relation to the
plot, this Boris Karloff film was side-splitting hilarious. Maybe I'm
easily amused. :) It's a spoof of just about every mad-scientist film
made at that time with a steady stream of the best lines EVER. "It's
fun in a way being entombed," is a mild example.
4. 27 Dresses. Lame. Only recommended for those into soppy romantic
comedies.
5. Made of Honor (at theater). Worse than lame! This one made me
angry. If you're really curious as to why I'm getting ticked at a
silly film *S* then check out Raven In Alaska's review of it on
Netflix. (That's me, btw.)
