I don't know, Nathan. I kind of looked at it as making a point that
there could be some bad in the best of us and some good in the worst
of us. As for the sonar spying, I think that was a not so cleverly
veiled snark at the current administration. I do understand the cover-
up, though, since Batman did become somewhat reviled by the citizenry
in the comics. I thought it was nice to show that it was a set-up
between him and Gordon to protect Dent's reputation, although I do
agree that it was unnecessary to salvage that since he had thrown it
away himself. But then again, perhaps the story wanted to show how
easily a good man could compromise his own moral principles given the
right set of circumstances.
As for Wall-E, I'll take a pass since it looks like a blatant ripoff
of Short Circuit. Bleh!
