DH and I saw Hancock and Wanted last weekend.
First, let me say I LURVVVVVVE Will Smith, so I may be biased. At first I
thought I was going to hate it because it had that "hand held camera" POV
like the second "Bourne" film - those usually make me sick at my stomach to
watch. But after the first few minutes they either stopped using that or I
got so engrossed in the movie that I didn't notice it any more. I ended up
really loving this movie.
I wasn't expected to like Wanted as much as I did, I thought it would be
gross-out bloody (the commercials looked kind of similar to "Sin City" -
sort of comic-book "over-the-top"). While it *was* comic-book
"over-the-top" as far as special effects, it wasn't all that bloody and I
ended up thoroughly enjoying it.
I also want to see The Dark Knight and Journey, so I'm glad to hear you
liked them.
